I am a versatile illustrator and designer with over 25 years of experience in children’s books, hand-drawn illustration and patterns.
I have illustrated more than 30 books for children including the popular series Bunny’s Book Club and Maddie and Mabel. My artwork has been published in books and magazines in the US and Europe.

I am known for engaging and diverse characters, loving attention to detail, and a joyful color palette. I like to paint with watercolor, gouache, and colored pencils. My work is informed and inspired by my Swiss childhood, folk art, fairy tales, travel, a love of nature and time-worn surfaces, vintage children’s books and ephemera and dreams of the ocean. Today, I live in South Carolina with my family and spend lot of my time looking over hedges and under mushrooms.
